The Key Stage is a key stage in the British education system as it sets out the educational knowledge expected of students of different ages.
The Key Stages are very important as they are the last step before GCSE, the General Certificates of Secondary. We work with our students focusing on getting them into completely healthy study habits, a good foundation will make it easier for them to cope with any difficulties that may arise. At LMI College, your British school in Madrid, our students have, in addition to their class time, several times throughout the day focused on improving their study habits. They will have hours of study, revision and homework inside the school, we believe that a good balance between their life inside the school and outside creates responsible young people.
Year 10-11 students are now mostly assessed against the new GCSE criteria on a scale of 1-9 (9 being the highest grade available). You will receive a monthly report on your child’s progress. This report will assess such important things as:
Not only are they experts in their subjects, at LMI we train our teachers in the latest methodologies focused on each type of student.
